Michelle was born and raised in Abbotsford and attended the University of the Fraser Valley where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice in 2011. While attending the University of the Fraser Valley, Michelle was given a place on the Dean’s List for academic achievement. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, Michelle was employed for several years in the Criminal Justice System. She eventually left this field of work and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Law Degree from Leicester University in the United Kingdom. During her time in the United Kingdom Michelle travelled across Europe with her husband, visiting over 14 countries in less than two years. Michelle graduated from Leicester University with First Class Honours and was awarded the 36 Bedford Row Prize and the Leicester Law School Jubilee Prize for Best Overall Academic Performance in her graduating class.
Upon graduation from Leicester University, Michelle completed the Federation of Law Societies Accreditation Program. During this period, Michelle was employed by Cascade Law Corporation where she is now completing her Articles.
Michelle and her husband live in Abbotsford with their blind Labrador Retriever, Hannah. In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with her dog, cooking, reading, travelling and trying new wine.
